OUR STORY

a Hood River Family tradition Since 1967

Charburger started in the 1950's when Les and Pearl Bausch opened in Cascade locks under the Bridge of the God's. There son Steve Bausch helped them on the weekend's until 1967 Steve And Babe Bausch opened Charburger in Hood River when they bought Hestler's Broiler. There have been four generations that have made a living at the Charburger. Ken Bausch is now the owner and operator of the Charburger.

Our Hand crafted foods set us apart from other restaurants. You will enjoy the unique hand crafted salads and whole muscle meats that we prepare for our many sandwiches and entrees such as  corn-beef, roast-beef, tri-tip and pulled pork all smoked to perfection in our wood-fired smoker.
